Located in the historical and stunning Strand Arcade, Caffe Pendolino is a classy and sophisticated restaurant that doesn't cost you a fortune and you can still invite a friend, colleague or a client for a delicious lunch.
Caffe Pendolino specialises in a range of Trattoria style, provincial Italian cuisine.
Out for a lunch with a friend of mine (the place was her pick) and only an hour on hand to order, chat and devour the Italian delicacies, we were quick to order.
This gave us about 15-20 minutes of quality gossip time ;) before we were served.
The chilli linguine with parsley and olive oil was a simple dish but packed a lot of flavour. The pasta was rightly cooked and the fragrance from chilli was quite evident throughout the dish.
The 'Cotoletta Alia Milanese', chicken breast blended with fresh breadcrumbs, herbs and parmesan and then crusted was an amazing dish too. The chicken was indeed flavoursome. The shoestring fries were crisp and crunchy, something you can easily sink your teeth into.
